This home dates from the 1900’s and is filled with lovely antiques from that era. The Bonnet House Museum and Gardens is named for the Bonnet lilies that float on the ponds of this 35-acre property. The house, built in 1921 is a courtyard-style waterfront home.
A great travel tip to save some money is to park the car and ride the Sun Trolley. For only 1 dollar visitors can wave a hand and hail the trolley. Hop on and ride all around the city. Never worry about parking fees or finding a spot. Get on and off at popular attractions or restaurants. This is a great, kid-friendly way to see the city and save some hassle.
No visit to Ft. Lauderdale would be complete without a visit to the Naval Air Station Fort Lauderdale Museum.
